At the end of 2024, Ms. Leo Thi Thuy's production facility in Village 3, Ban Vuoc Commune, Bat Xat District had 4 dried meat products recognized as OCOP star. Thanks to that, the facility's sales volume has also increased sharply. To achieve this result, from the selection of raw materials to the processing stages, all have been invested in, especially ensuring food hygiene and safety.
Ms. Thuy said: "I have plans to further develop the production facility. To maintain 3-star OCOP, I have to try harder, from standard materials, I will have good products."

Thanh Son Cooperative, a unit specializing in producing vermicelli, is currently maintaining 2 3-star OCOP products. The products have good quality, are consumed conveniently not only in the province but also exported to many provinces and cities across the country, solving the output for the large raw material area. In 2024, the cooperative's revenue will reach more than 10 billion VND.
Ms. Bui Thi Hao, Deputy Director of Thanh Son Cooperative said: "If the product achieves OCOP star, the value will increase. We must try to maintain quality in all aspects to suit the needs of consumers. That is also the criterion of the cooperative".
Thanh Son vermicelli is trusted by customers inside and outside the province.
Bat Xat has many typical products with strengths to develop and upgrade into OCOP products such as: tea, fruit trees, Seng cu rice, dried meat, etc. Up to now, the district has 40 OCOP products, of which 2 are 4-star products. In 2025, the locality strives to have 10 more products achieving OCOP stars.
