Currently, in the province, there are 2 type II driving test centers: Quang Tri Driving Training and Testing Center, Manh Linh Driving Test Center under Manh Linh Vocational Education Center. As of December 31, 2024, the Department of Transport is managing 530,290 driving licenses, including 462,775 motorcycle driving licenses and 67,515 car driving licenses of all classes.

To avoid disruption of the work of issuing driving licenses to people during the time of task transfer, and to avoid waste when the Ministry of Transport stops testing and issuing driving licenses, the Vietnam Road Administration requests the Departments of Transport to review and forecast the number of driving license stamps needed to serve the needs of issuing and exchanging driving licenses in February 2025.

For Quang Tri province, the estimated number of unused driver's license blanks and stamps as of February 18, 2025 is 4,000 unused driver's license blanks.
