Today, March 24, in Quang Tri province, the Department of Social Policy, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army handed over the relics and memorabilia of 3 martyrs to the relatives and families of martyrs in Trieu Phong and Hai Lang districts.
Before handing over the relics and mementos to the martyrs' relatives, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command coordinated with the provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Department of Home Affairs) to compare records, conduct inspections, reviews and verifications to ensure strictness and accuracy.

Through verification of 7 cases, there are 3 cases with full information of martyrs and relatives in Trieu Phong and Hai Lang districts including: Martyr Vo Da, born in 1925, hometown Trieu Dai commune, Trieu Hai district, Binh Tri Thien province, enlisted in 1949, position of soldier, died on December 30, 1950; Martyr Nguyen Dang Ngai, born in 1928, hometown Hai Vinh commune, Trieu Hai district, Binh Tri Thien province, enlisted in 1949, position of soldier, died on March 17, 1953; Martyr Nguyen Dat, born in 1915, hometown Hai Duong commune, Trieu Hai district, Binh Tri Thien province, enlisted in 1950, position of Platoon Leader, died on May 4, 1952.

The relics and mementos of the martyrs handed over to their relatives in Quang Tri province include: military records, degrees, certificates, certificates of merit... of the 3 martyrs.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Social Policy, General Department of Politics presented gifts to 15 policy families and outstanding meritorious people of Trieu Phong and Hai Lang districts.
