(NLDO) - The Politburo mobilized, assigned and appointed Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province Hoang Trung Dung to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the Politburo's decision to transfer, assign, and appoint the position of Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.
According to this decision, the Politburo decided that Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Ha Tinh province, ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; transferred, assigned, and appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine.
Presenting the decision and congratulating Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung stated: Mr. Hoang Trung Dung is a cadre with a firm political ideology, absolute trust in the leadership and innovation policy of the Party, always upholding the spirit of responsibility, being exemplary in work and life; having a scientific, democratic, resolute working method, close to the grassroots.
In all his positions, Mr. Hoang Trung Dung has always fulfilled his duties well, making important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the locality, agency and unit. The Politburo believes that with his capacity and experience, the new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine will excellently fulfill his assigned tasks.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the collective leadership of the Magazine, the departments and units of the Magazine to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing, support and assistance to Mr. Hoang Trung Dung in his position as Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, focusing on leading and directing the Magazine to perform well its functions of research, propaganda, dissemination and education of the Party's political theory and regular and ad hoc tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat, building the Magazine to develop more and more.
In the coming time, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung requested the collective leadership of the Magazine to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, policies and resolutions of the Party, especially the direction of the Politburo, especially the thoughts and directions in the recent speeches of General Secretary To Lam on strongly innovating the Party's leadership and governance methods, preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; arranging the organizational apparatus in the direction of "Streamlined - compact - strong - efficient - effective - effective"; making breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation for research and widespread propaganda throughout the entire political system.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee noted that the organization of the Communist Magazine should be stabilized soon after implementing the policy of restructuring the organization, ensuring that the new organization must operate better than before, meeting the requirements of new tasks. The Communist Magazine needs to be a pioneer in implementing digital transformation in press activities to optimize and further improve operational efficiency.
At the same time, continue to summarize practices, research theories, propagate, educate, and fight against distorted, erroneous, and hostile ideologies and arguments, and protect Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and the State's policies and laws.
In his acceptance speech, the new Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine, Hoang Trung Dung, respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the attention and support of the Party Committee, the Editorial Board, cadres, party members, civil servants and workers of Communist Magazine for creating favorable conditions for him to contribute and train in a new environment full of honor and pride.
"Being assigned to work at the Communist Magazine, the political theory agency of the Party Central Committee founded by President Ho Chi Minh and the first editor-in-chief, with a long history, is a great opportunity for me and the collective leadership and staff of the Magazine to contribute to bringing the Party's policies, guidelines and viewpoints into life; summarize, supplement and develop theories; fight, criticize and reject wrong viewpoints; together with the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, realize the aspiration to bring the country into a new era, an era of national growth" - Mr. Hoang Trung Dung emphasized.
The new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine expressed his hope to receive support and assistance from generations of leaders and staff of the agency so that the Communist Magazine can promote its tradition and become more and more worthy of being the ideological and theoretical flag of the Party.
Mr. Hoang Trung Dung was born in 1971, from Ha Tinh province; has a PhD in Political Science, a BA in Literature, and a Master's degree in Political Theory.
Mr. Hoang Trung Dung has held many positions in many agencies and units of Ha Tinh province: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and then Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee from October 2020 to present.
At the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as a member of the 13th Central Executive Committee of the Party.
