(NLDO) - Despite many violations, the principal and the school were only asked to strictly self-criticize and learn from experience.

On December 8, the People's Committee of Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province, said it had seriously criticized and reviewed the experience of the Ia Mo Nong Primary and Secondary School and Mr. Tran Van Tinh, the school's principal, for allowing many violations to occur.

Request the school and Mr. Tran Van Tinh to strictly self-examine and learn from experience to avoid similar violations in the future.

In addition, the Principal of Ia Mo Nong Primary and Secondary School is requested to criticize and review the experience of Mr. Ro Cham Thom - teacher.

Previously, the inspection team of Chu Pah district inspected and determined that in the 2021-2022 school year, Mr. Tran Van Tinh, the school principal, had made a record of overtime and extra periods for 2 teachers. After being paid 30 million VND for overtime and extra periods, Mr. Tinh asked the 2 teachers to return the above amount to the unit.

The inspection team found that Mr. Tinh's arbitrary marking of overtime and extra periods for 2 teachers to pay for state budget funds used for other purposes was against regulations and should be recovered and returned to the state budget. Mr. Tinh, as the head of the unit, created documents to pay for overtime and extra periods for 2 teachers and used them for other purposes, which is a violation and should be reviewed for responsibility.

In August 2022, Mr. Tran Van Tinh sold trees on campus for 15 million VND. Mr. Tinh did not inform all teachers of the school about the sale of the two trees. The money from the sale of the two trees was not directed to the accountant to complete the school fund registration procedures but was used to buy ornamental plants, flowers, and fertilizers to plant at the school.

In particular, agreeing to let Mr. Ro Cham Thom - a teacher at the school hire someone to teach in his place from September 2022 to December 2023 and during this time, Mr. Thom was still fully paid by the school is against regulations.

In addition, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 2023, the school supported each teacher with 1 million VND/person. After the teachers received the money, the school and the union informed all teachers about collecting 800,000 VND/person to pay for the opening and closing meals of the school year. However, when the inspection team worked, the teachers had no comments or questions about this content.
