In Hanoi, people can submit their applications directly at Facility 1: No. 2 Phung Hung Street, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District; and Facility 2: No. 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan Street, Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam District.

People who need to change or reissue their driver's license can do so directly and online.

Basically, the Public Security sector keeps the data system and software for managing testing, granting and changing driver's licenses of the Transport sector intact.

Previously, Hanoi had 13 facilities that directly received applications for driver's license renewal, now reduced to 2 locations in Ha Dong district and Gia Lam district.

Time to receive and return results: Morning from 8:00 to 11:30; Afternoon from 13:30 to 17:00 (units are closed on Sunday).
