On the afternoon of March 1, International University (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced information on regular university enrollment in 2025.
This year, the school plans to enroll 2,000 full-time university students for training programs with degrees granted by the school and joint programs with foreign universities.
3 groups of admission methods that schools will use in 2025, specifically:
Method 1 : Direct admission (including candidates who meet the conditions for direct admission, priority admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; candidates who meet the conditions for priority admission, priority admission according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University).
Method 2 : Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.
Method 3 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Bonus points for candidates in the admission exam
Notably, the school said that regarding bonus points in admission (in all 3 methods above), candidates will be awarded points in the following cases: candidates with English certificates according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; candidates with competency assessment results of international exams or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training; candidates winning prizes in literature, sports, and art competitions...
However, for method 2, because the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam is structured similarly to some international competency assessment exams, candidates will not be considered for bonus points for international competency assessment results or equivalent, but will still be awarded points for candidates with English certificates according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training or winning prizes in literature, sports, and art competitions...
The school will announce the detailed bonus points in the enrollment plan after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the regulations for regular university enrollment in 2025.
