(GLO)- On February 23, the Red Cross Society of Nguyen Van Cu Secondary and High School (Chu Se district, Gia Lai province) coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Society to train first aid knowledge and skills for over 100 students and teachers of the school.

Accordingly, during one day, students and teachers are instructed in theory and practice of initial first aid such as: first aid skills for foreign objects blocking the airway, first aid for bleeding, first aid for burns, electric shock, drowning; treatment of open wounds, soft tissue injuries, wound bandaging; artificial respiration (cardiac compression); transporting victims to a safe place....
The training course aims to help teachers and students of Nguyen Van Cu Secondary and High School improve their knowledge and skills in injury prevention, especially knowing how to handle injuries promptly for themselves as well as for everyone when they unfortunately encounter unexpected incidents in study, daily life...
