The English e-lesson design contest is a professional and creative activity, providing a good opportunity for teachers to demonstrate their creativity and enthusiasm. The contest is of great significance to the education sector, especially in the context of the whole sector promoting digital transformation to carry out the tasks of the 2018 General Education Program.
The 2024 English e-lesson design contest attracted the attention of many English teachers with 7,500 teachers and more than 4,000 products participating in the contest.
The exam marking process is carried out according to a scientific and strict process with clear criteria, ensuring fairness, transparency and seriousness. The exam papers are evaluated based on many different criteria such as: content, teaching methods, interaction with students, educational effectiveness, application of technology...
The jury selected 248 best lectures to award prizes. These lectures not only demonstrated the professional level but also showed the creativity, technology application skills and enthusiasm of the authors.
Out of a total of 248 teachers who won the contest, Hanoi teachers won 103 prizes, including 1 Special Prize, 15 First Prizes, 18 Second Prizes, 18 Third Prizes, 42 Encouragement Prizes, and 10 Additional Prizes; Hanoi Department of Education and Training was awarded the collective Gold Prize.
Sharing about the contest, a representative of the Department of Education and Training said: as soon as receiving the information, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training disseminated and launched the contest to its affiliated units; considering this an important professional activity in the process of implementing education and training innovation in the spirit of Resolution 29 on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration.
Representatives of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the significance and impact of the contest. Accordingly, the contest has aroused a creative competitive atmosphere in schools, motivating teachers to proactively improve their skills in applying information technology in each lesson, thereby creating effective lessons, active classes and students who are passionate about learning. The contest also contributes to promoting new trends in advanced teaching methods in the 4.0 era, keeping up with the policy of educational innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program.
