Knhtedothi - In recent times, implementing the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, Party committees and authorities at all levels in Hanoi have promoted responsibility, actively and promptly participated in performing tasks, thereby contributing to promoting the capital to develop more and more quickly and sustainably.

Spreading the spirit of responsibility

Implementing Uncle Ho's teachings on the responsibility of party members, Party committees at all levels of the Hanoi Party Committee always focus on rectifying working style, aiming to build the image of cadres and party members who are close to the people, listening to the people's opinions.

In particular, after Directive No. 24-CT/TU dated August 7, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on "Strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility for handling work in the political system of Hanoi City" was issued and implemented, with 25 specific manifestations of the situation of cadres being afraid of responsibility, avoiding and shirking responsibility being clearly pointed out, it continued to create changes in perception, overcoming the mindset that a careless and sloppy attitude at work is "no problem".

Discipline, discipline and responsibility in handling work have been raised. Party committees at all levels have always shown determination in action; creativity and innovation in thinking and measures; especially promoting the exemplary role from the head of the Party committee to cadres and party members throughout the city.

Along with that, with the innovative mindset, the city has implemented a system of regulations and rules in personnel work that is increasingly strict, scientific, and close to reality. In particular, the most prominent is the strong and drastic innovation in the work of evaluating cadres. By taking work efficiency as the "measure", the situation of equalization and formality has been overcome. At the same time, the leadership, direction, and management methods of authorities at all levels have been innovated in a close, drastic manner, associated with the responsibility of the head...

The city's leaders continuously have instructions and requests for Party committees at all levels to grasp the situation at the grassroots level; orient ideology, guide public opinion; strengthen dialogue, listen to and absorb comments and suggestions from organizations, Party members and people to lead and direct closely, promptly, with focus and key points; promote innovation and creativity to contribute to development.

City leaders also regularly have direct dialogues with people, directing the handling of people's shortcomings and concerns that local authorities have not effectively handled, to prolong and eliminate hot spots, thereby spreading the spirit of responsibility, determination, and setting an example for leaders at all levels.

Units in Hanoi also promote the application of information technology in management, operation, connection, and sharing of information data to improve the quality of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, and prevent the emergence of hot spots.

The consistent spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, and the leadership method from Hanoi City have been strongly and resolutely spread to the grassroots; each Party Committee and unit has strived to innovate and be creative to contribute to the overall achievements. From there, promoting socio-economic development, excellently and comprehensively completing the set targets.

According to experts, Hanoi has implemented the Party Congress Resolutions very well in many terms, in many aspects, not only creating outstanding breakthroughs in socio-economic development, urban appearance, but also innovations in the operation of the urban government system...

The comprehensive development results of the city are proof of the correct direction and leadership of the Hanoi Party Committee, in which there have been breakthrough decisions, with solid steps and appropriate action programs to exude the image of a capital city.

In particular, to have a new transformation, with strong and comprehensive spread in all fields, one of Hanoi's innovations that is still maintained is to build working programs of the City Party Committee, helping the "commanders" in charge and staff in each field to base on that to direct and concretize implementation to create strong changes.

In 2025, Hanoi City will continue to implement very important steps to realize the vision and aspiration to develop the Capital with many key tasks set out in the resolutions of the Central Committee; making pioneering efforts in the New Era - the Era of national growth.

In particular, concretizing the implementation of the provisions of the 2024 Capital Law, the project to adjust the Master Plan for Capital Construction to 2045, with a vision to 2065 and the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

Accelerate the implementation of key projects according to plan; complete the goals in socio-economic development, further improve the quality of life of the people... As the city's leaders have affirmed, without waiting for the 14th National Party Congress, the Hanoi Party Committee is resolutely directing to accelerate economic development, promote investment attraction in all fields with the target of GRDP growth of 8% in 2025 to create momentum to enter the 2026 - 2030 period with the determination of double-digit growth.

To create momentum for new movements, Hanoi is determined to continue promoting its exemplary leading role in arousing the will and aspiration to develop cadres, party members and people; especially focusing on promoting digital transformation associated with streamlining the apparatus, improving the quality of the team to meet increasingly high requirements and tasks.

Therefore, continuing to promote the sense of responsibility, innovative thinking, creativity, development, daring to think and act of each level and sector is still a requirement that is always put forth. Studying and following Uncle Ho's ideology is also an important basis for Party committees at all levels to arouse the sense of responsibility and awareness of setting an example of each cadre and Party member in performing their duties.

Along with tightening discipline, increasing inspection and supervision, and raising the responsibility of leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels, many people expect that Hanoi will continue to accelerate in socio-economic development, creating new breakthroughs and new achievements.
