Kinhtedothi - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City attended and shared joy with the people of Da Man 5 residential area, Khue My ward, Ngu Hanh Son district at the National Festival.
Also attending were leaders of the Propaganda Department, the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Le Trung Chinh emphasized that after 50 years since the liberation of the homeland, Da Nang has risen strongly, overcome many difficulties and challenges and achieved important and comprehensive achievements in all fields. Da Nang is recognized as a class I urban area, a centrally-run city and a major socio-economic center of the Central Highlands.
The Politburo acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of the city in the process of dynamic and creative development, gradually affirming its position as a city worth living, investing in and working in.
In recent times, with the attention of the Central Government, Da Nang has issued many special mechanisms and policies such as: establishing Da Nang Free Trade Zone, Da Nang Regional Financial Center; promoting investment attraction in high-tech fields, semiconductors, artificial intelligence... These major policies will create strong momentum, bringing the city to develop quickly and sustainably in the coming period.
Mr. Le Trung Chinh also affirmed that Khue My ward is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; K20 Revolutionary Base is recognized as a national historical relic. These great historical values are the foundation for the locality to continuously develop. With the investment attention of the city, the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and especially the spirit of consensus and solidarity of the people, the appearance of Khue My urban area is increasingly spacious, the material and spiritual life of the people is constantly improved.
Praising the achievements of Da Man 5 residential area and Khue My ward in recent times, Mr. Le Trung Chinh requested cadres, party members and people to continue to promote tradition, build a residential area of solidarity, prosperity, happiness, economic development, cultural civilization, ensuring security and safety. Each citizen is the subject in building an ecological, modern, smart city, becoming a livable place, worthy of being the development center of the region.
Along with Da Man 5 residential area, on this occasion, many residential areas across the city simultaneously organized the National Festival with a joyful and exciting atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, pride in the resilient revolutionary tradition, competing together to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland and towards building Da Nang to be increasingly rich, civilized and modern.
