The fair aims to create opportunities for graduating students and workers to directly approach businesses and employers, and at the same time orient their future careers.

The Technology Job Fair of the University of Technology has been held since 2014 and has become an annual event, attracting much attention from businesses, companies and students.
The program has accompanied students of the University of Technology in particular and universities in general for the past 11 years and has gradually become a familiar bridge between employers and students studying engineering technology in Hanoi, helping to establish and orient first- and second-year students early and creating job and internship opportunities for students about to graduate.
This year, the Fair has thousands of job vacancies from 76 businesses and more than 80 direct recruitment booths for students to participate in interviews.
Resolution 57, opening up new opportunities for the young generation
This year, UET Jobfair takes place in a special context when the country is promoting reform and streamlining to prepare for breakthroughs and rise in the new era. The Party and Government identify science and technology as the pillar of national development, demonstrated by the issuance of Resolution 57 with a commitment to strongly invest in science and technology, digital transformation and policies to promote the development of the private enterprise sector. This is a great opportunity not only for the country, industries, sectors and businesses but also opens up opportunities for the young generation, especially students of the University of Technology.
Students need to be fully prepared with knowledge and skills to integrate into this strong transformation trend. For the University of Technology, 2025 marks a special milestone when the University passes the 20-year milestone of construction and development, affirming its position as one of the leading technical technology training institutions in the country. This is also the 4th year that the University has implemented a financial autonomy mechanism with many breakthrough policies, strongly applying digital transformation in administration and improving training quality.
Currently, in addition to 17 training majors, the School has opened 3 new majors: Data Science, Materials Technology, Biotechnology. The School's training majors play an important role in training human resources capable of meeting the growing demand in the fields of Information Technology, Data Science, Computers, Electronics, Semiconductors, Control and Automation, Materials, Green Energy, Aerospace, Traffic Construction, Industrial Design and Graphics, Agricultural Technology, Cell Technology, Gene Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Microbiological Technology combined with Bioinformatics Engineering, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, etc.
Speaking at the program, Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh - Principal of the School said: “ To be successful, you need to study the best, especially focusing on the most basic and academic knowledge and skills so that you can fly high and far. Technology students must be the pillars of developing digital technologies, turning digital technology into a digital production method for every household and every business. Technology students also need to contribute to spreading the spirit of readiness to exploit digital services for every citizen, contributing to the cause of popularizing digital education ”.

The President also emphasized: “ UET Jobfair 2025 is a big festival for students of all technology and engineering majors in Hanoi. The festival is an opportunity for students to learn about the labor market through listening, interacting and learning more about the needs of employers. Students know what they have prepared and what they lack, thereby cultivating and orienting their future career path. Complete the training program on time. Always be aware and responsible for yourself, your family, and society, spreading the core values and humanistic values of the University of Technology to future generations ”.
Businesses always accompany universities
After many years of cooperation with the University of Technology, Mr. Do Duc Dung - Director of Software Solutions Department representing Samsung R&D Center Vietnam said: “ The University of Technology is the place that has trained many generations of students to grow up and succeed, including contributions from career orientation and connection programs such as UET Jobfair. The festival is a bridge to help businesses approach and share with students about career orientation, necessary skills and knowledge. At the same time, the program also creates conditions for students to better understand the requirements and trends of future jobs ”. Sharing the same opinion with Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh, Mr. Duc Dung said: “ Students need to have the will and long-term vision to work with businesses to build, contribute and achieve great successes, contributing to the common development of businesses, society and themselves ”.
Mr. Do Duc Dung emphasized: “ From the very beginning, Samsung R&D Center has identified human resources as a key factor. Therefore, we always accompany leading universities, especially the University of Technology, through activities such as granting scholarships, research funding, and recruitment. These activities not only contribute to the development of the University but also help students improve their vision and prepare for future career opportunities .”

Affirming that the University of Technology is a comprehensive partner with MB, Mr. Vu Ngoc Ha - Deputy Director of the Digital Technology Center, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) affirmed: "The school has been accompanying the bank in technological transformation, bringing diverse products, services and outstanding career opportunities to the talented young generation of UET. Many UET alumni have now grown up and are holding important positions at MB ".

The University of Technology and MB have had many activities connecting with students such as seminars, workshops to share experiences and career orientation in the digital age. From these activities, many UET students have joined MB as interns and have been recruited after graduation. Mr. Ngoc Ha added: “Generations of students of the University have been and continue to demonstrate their professional skills and talents as well as the identity of UET people in a dynamic, flexible environment, applying new management methods at MB. We hope that the University and students will continue to accompany MB, make breakthroughs and become valuable resources in the development journey ahead”.
Many jobs for students right at the festival
Participating in the UET Job Fair 2025, Pham Cong Nguyen (QH-2022, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications) aims to find internship opportunities and aim for the position of network engineer or internal network system. Cong Nguyen shared: “The job fair is an opportunity for me to better understand the recruitment needs and job positions in my field of study, and at the same time look for internship opportunities while I am a third-year student. I am especially assured that the companies participating in the event have been verified by the University for reputation and quality, helping us avoid unnecessary risks when looking for a job. This also helps me clearly identify reputable workplaces, creating motivation to study and orient my career. However, the recruitment requirements in my field are quite high, requiring good scores, along with specialized skills such as network systems and signal processing, so I will continue to strive to improve my knowledge and skills.”
After participating in the event, Cong Nguyen not only grasped the recruitment needs of businesses but also accumulated more specialized knowledge to better prepare for his career path.

Similarly, Chu Thanh Long (QH-2021, Robotics Engineering, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications) participated in a recruitment interview at Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. Sharing after the interview, Thanh Long said: “The learning process at the School has equipped me with systematic knowledge and thinking to approach new technologies. Participating in the application is an opportunity for me to accumulate experience, at the same time helping me to self-evaluate and better prepare for my upcoming career. I realize that I need to continue to improve my foreign languages and soft skills to improve in the future.”

At UET Job Fair 2025, students have the opportunity to directly demonstrate their abilities, gain interview experience and explore job opportunities in the fields of engineering technology. Not only third and fourth year students but also first and second year students actively participate in the event to learn about businesses, nurture their passion and orient their future careers. In addition, before the main event, there is a series of attractive seminars related to innovation, start-up experience, building a career path for yourself, how to integrate into corporate culture or recruitment interview skills...
In addition to recruitment activities, the event also brought many exciting activities such as physical training games (tug of war, sack jumping, arm wrestling) and the final round of the "UET Esport Championship 2025". The tournament was organized to create a healthy e-sports playground, helping students to exchange and entertain after stressful studying and exam periods. After a month of competition, the strongest teams entered the final round. As a result, the M3UNINDTED team won the first prize, the FET team won the second prize and the two teams Long Sau Rom and BabyThree shared the third prize, ending the tournament with great success.
