The City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Tourism Information and Promotion Center:
Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to arrange, organize, stabilize the organization, personnel, allocate budget (unit price standards), housing facilities, land, workplaces and other rights and obligations... related to the organization and operation of the Center in accordance with the provisions of law.
Complete leadership and management positions of specialized departments according to the decentralization of the Department of Tourism and other regulations of law.
Develop specific regulations on functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure of specialized and professional departments, working regulations of the Tourism Information and Promotion Center, and submit them to competent authorities for approval.
Develop job position project and autonomy project of Tourism Information and Promotion Center to submit to competent authority for consideration and decision.
Resolve existing and arising tasks related to the activities of the Hanoi City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center from March 1, 2025 (if any).
Coordinate with Hanoi City Police to carry out procedures to withdraw old seals and make new seals according to regulations.
This Decision takes effect from March 1, 2025. All provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby repealed.
On the same day, February 28, the City People's Committee issued Decision No. 1134/QD-UBND on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Tourism Information and Promotion Center under the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
Specifically, the Tourism Information and Promotion Center is a public service unit under the Hanoi Department of Tourism with the function of promoting and introducing tourism in the capital at home and abroad; building and developing the capital's tourism brand; researching and orienting the development of tourism markets and products; propagating and raising social awareness about tourism; mobilizing and seeking opportunities and resources for investment in tourism development; providing public service and serving state management according to the provisions of law; participating in coordinating the promotion and advertising of regional, inter-regional and national tourism.
The Tourism Information and Promotion Center has legal status, has a head office, a seal, and is allowed to open an account in accordance with the law. The Center is under the direction and management of the Department of Tourism in accordance with the law.
