8X Master appointed as Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science

Mr. Van Chi Nam (born in 1982) was appointed Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science.

According to information from Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, Mr. Van Chi Nam, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, was appointed Vice Principal of the school from March 1.

Mr. Van Chi Nam was born in 1982, from Bac Lieu. Mr. Nam was a former student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences. He graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree in Information Technology.

Before being appointed as Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, Mr. Van Chi Nam was a teaching assistant and lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology. Mr. Nam has held various management roles at the school such as Head of Student Affairs Department (from December 2012 to May 2018), Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology (from August 2018 to present), Acting Secretary of the School Youth Union (2009) and Party Committee member of the School Party Committee (from March 2015 to present).

Thus, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science consists of 3 people. Of which, the Principal is Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Le Quan; 2 Vice Principals are Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Minh Triet and Master Van Chi Nam.
