Quang Ngai earns 27 billion VND from tourism during Tet

On February 13 (the 4th day of Tet), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province said that from the 29th to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, tourist areas and spots in Quang Ngai welcomed about 50,000 visitors, an increase of 42% over the same period last year.

Of which, 800 were international visitors and 47,200 were domestic visitors. Accommodation establishments served about 12,000 visitors, with room occupancy reaching about 45%. Travel agencies served about 200 visitors, and tourist areas were estimated at 38,800 visitors.

Tourists visit Minh Duc Pagoda - a spiritual and cultural tourist area in Tinh Long commune (Quang Ngai city).

Some tourist areas and spots have quite a large number of visitors such as: Ly Son Island 2,500 visitors, Minh Duc Pagoda 8,000 visitors, Minh Tan Beach 6,000 visitors, My Khe Beach 5,000 visitors, Suoi Chi Eco-tourism Area 1,300 visitors, Nghia Ha Flower Village over 1,000 visitors; other tourist areas and spots have about 10,000 visitors. Total revenue is estimated at 27 billion VND, up 56% over the same period last year.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province has directed tourism service businesses to prepare well to serve tourists and people before, during and after Tet. Strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism activities to ensure safety and serve tourists' needs well.

Quang Ngai province has prepared quite carefully cultural, artistic, information, propaganda and agitation activities, in which the most prominent are the activities "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring", creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to welcome the New Year.
