Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien visited and paid tribute to members of the Ba To Guerrilla Team.

(Baoquangngai.vn) - Visiting the family of comrade Huynh Quang Lau, a member of the Ba To Guerrilla Team, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien expressed his gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the Ba To Guerrilla Team to the revolutionary cause and the struggle for national liberation.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025), on the afternoon of February 28, the provincial working delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien visited and paid tribute to comrade Huynh Quang Lau, a member of the Ba To Guerrilla Team, who is being worshiped in Pho Van Ward (Duc Pho Town).

At home, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien visited and expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions of the members of the Ba To Guerrilla Team in the struggle for national liberation. Those important contributions contributed to the victory of the Ba To Uprising 80 years ago.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and wished good health to the family of comrade Huynh Quang Lau; hoped that the family would preserve and promote the revolutionary tradition of their ancestors, encourage and educate their children and grandchildren to actively contribute to building their homeland to develop more and more.

Comrade Huynh Quang Lau (1923 - 1945), from Pho Van commune, Duc Pho district (now Duc Pho town). In March 1945, he joined the Ba To Guerrilla Team in the Nuoc Sung, Nuoc La (Ba To) War Zone. When the Ba To Guerrilla Team moved to the plains, he was assigned to hold the position of Platoon Leader of Pham Hong Thai Platoon, Hoang Hoa Tham Company. On August 18, 1945, he sacrificed himself in Song Ve town (Tu Nghia).
