(VLO) On February 28, Vinh Long Provincial Police and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held a signing ceremony to transfer and receive the task of state management of drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to the Provincial Police.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Mong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and Ms. Phan Hong Hanh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs co-chaired the ceremony.
To reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system, including the transfer and acceptance of state management tasks on drug addiction treatment and post-rehabilitation management from the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to the provincial Police, the two units have proactively coordinated and urgently reviewed functions, tasks, personnel, equipment and necessary conditions to ensure a smooth transfer process.
With high consensus, the Provincial Police and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs signed a handover and acceptance record. In the coming time, the Provincial Police will assign the Personnel Organization Department to coordinate with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department to arrange and assign positions in the payroll according to the list of job positions directed by the Ministry of Public Security to ensure security and order at the rehabilitation facility.
