On the morning of July 24, the National Assembly Supervisory Working Group led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly's Supreme Supervisory Delegation, offered incense and flowers at Tra Linh Martyrs' Cemetery; visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families in Trung Khanh district.

Accompanying him were comrades: Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Trung Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and Trung Khanh district.

The delegation offered incense and flowers at Tra Linh Martyrs' Cemetery, the resting place of 303 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, including 281 martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the border protection battle in February 1979. Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong and the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Vow to be absolutely loyal to the Fatherland and the people, have a strong political stance, always study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh. Determined to contribute more of their strength and intelligence to the construction and protection of the Fatherland.

The delegation presented gifts to war invalid Nguyen Xuan Quy, Ban Gioc hamlet, Dam Thuy commune (Trung Khanh).

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of Mr. Tran Ba ​​Nghi, 81% infected with toxic chemicals, residential group 3, Tra Linh town; Mr. Nong Van Sy, 21% disabled, Coc Cang hamlet, Tra Linh town; martyr Nong Thi Ho's mother and martyr Ngan Thi Luyen's mother, Dong Tam and Ban Ra hamlets, Dam Thuy commune; Mr. Ma Tu Chum, 25% disabled and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quy, 25% disabled, Ban Gioc hamlet, Dam Thuy commune.

At the families, the delegation kindly visited the health and daily life of the families. Affirming that the Party, the State, and all classes of people always respect, are grateful for, and remember the sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers who bravely fought for the independence of the nation. Wishing that the families continue to strive and make efforts to improve their lives, actively participate in emulation movements to develop the local economy. Requesting that local Party committees and authorities pay attention to and help policy families in the area, continue to promote the good tradition of "repaying gratitude" and "remembering the source of water when drinking" of the nation.

The working delegation authorized the district to transfer 14 gifts to policy families and meritorious people in the district.

Previously, the delegation inspected the Quang Trung - Tri Phuong inter-commune road project, 6.2 km long, 3.5 m wide, with a total investment of 14 billion VND from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction.
