The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 555/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 6, 2025 on the assignment of tasks in the Ministry's leadership.
According to the Decision, the Minister and Deputy Ministers are assigned specific tasks as follows:
Minister Nguyen Van Hung: Comprehensive leadership and management of all aspects of the Ministry's work as prescribed by the Government in the Decree on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies and the Decree on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Directly direct and operate the following areas: Strategy, planning, investment in the development of culture, family, physical education, sports, tourism, publishing, information and press; Drafting and promulgating legal documents in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports, tourism, publishing, information and press; Party building; internal political protection; anti-corruption; practicing thrift and fighting waste; Personnel organization; Planning, Finance; International cooperation.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung directly supervises and directs the Department of Personnel Organization; Department of Planning and Finance; Department of Legal Affairs; Department of International Cooperation. Monitors and directs the industry's work areas in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired the March working conference to implement Decree No. 43/2025/ND-CP of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas: Press, media; Radio, television, electronic information; Grassroots information and foreign information; Research on culture, arts, sports and tourism; and Organizations.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Press Department; the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information; the Department of Grassroots Information and Foreign Information; the Ministry's Office; the Culture Newspaper; the Culture and Arts Magazine; the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism. Monitor and direct the sector's work in the provinces and cities of the Northeast and Red River Delta regions and perform other tasks assigned by the Minister.
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas of work: Performing arts; Cinema; Fine arts, photography and exhibitions; State management of literature; Administrative reform; National defense and security of the Ministry.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Department of Performing Arts; Department of Cinema; Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, along with 28 public service units and 2 enterprises under the Ministry.
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong monitors and directs the sector's work in the provinces of the Northwestern region and performs other tasks assigned by the Minister.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas of work: Grassroots culture, family, library; National culture; Emulation and rewards; Inspection.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library; Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups; Ministry Inspectorate and 5 public service units and the Ministry's Committee for the Advancement of Women.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy monitors and directs the sector's work in the provinces of the Central Highlands region and performs other tasks assigned by the Minister.
Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas of work: Sports; Cultural heritage and museums.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Department of Physical Education and Sports; the Department of Cultural Heritage and 10 public service units.
Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong monitors and directs the sector's work in provinces and cities in the Southwestern region and performs other tasks assigned by the Minister.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas of work: Tourism; Copyright; Cultural industry; Business innovation and development; Socialization in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports and tourism.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Vietnam National Tourism Administration; the Copyright Office; 8 public service units; 2 100% state-owned enterprises; 5 enterprises with representatives of state capital and the Enterprise Innovation and Development Board.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong monitors and directs the sector's work in the provinces of the Central region and performs other tasks assigned by the Minister.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam assists the Minister in directly monitoring and directing the following areas of work: Publishing, printing and distribution; Training and fostering knowledge of state management of culture, sports and tourism; Science, technology and environment; Digital transformation.
Assist the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution; Department of Science, Technology, Training and Environment and 6 public service units.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam monitors and directs the sector's work in the provinces of the Southeast region and performs other tasks assigned by the Minister.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision No. 586/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 11, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the assignment of tasks in the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
