Candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Thanh Son Martyrs Cemetery (City)

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023 ) , on the evening of July 26, City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, City Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with Provincial Police Candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Thanh Son Martyrs Cemetery (City).

Attending the event were comrade Le Hai Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee; Trinh Truong Huy , member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee ; leaders of the City, a number of departments, branches, sectors, provincial armed forces, families of war invalids, relatives of martyrs, youth union members, cadres and soldiers in the City.

In the city, there are 825 people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives who are enjoying the regime and policies of the Party and the State . Every year, many "Houses of Gratitude" are supported to build new ones and repair them; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers are taken care of and supported by agencies and organizations. Despite many difficulties, the city's budget annually allocates funds to take good care of people with meritorious services on holidays and Tet.

The city has 1 cemetery and 11 monuments with the names of heroic martyrs that have been newly built, renovated, upgraded, spacious and clean. Those results is a gesture of gratitude from the entire political system and society for the heroic sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families of people with revolutionary contributions.
