On February 19, the People's Committee of Nho Quan district organized a visit to encourage cadres, employees, and workers at a number of units, enterprises, and construction sites in the area.
Comrade Dang Xuan Nguyen, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, was the head of the delegation. Accompanying him were comrades in the District Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the District People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and specialized departments and offices.
The delegation visited and encouraged Phu Son Agricultural Cooperative (Phu Son Commune) - a unit that is implementing the model of growing gourd squash. The model started in 2023 with an area of 12 hectares, initially showing clear effectiveness, with a yield of 50 tons/ha, an annual output of nearly 600 tons, and a total revenue of more than 1.4 billion VND, 3.5 times higher than rice cultivation.
The delegation visited the staff and workers at HKB - Hoa Lu Paper Factory, Van Phong Industrial Park. The factory will be operational from 2023, with a total output of nearly 72 thousand tons of finished paper. HKB's products have an export rate of about 75%. Currently, the factory is creating jobs for over 200 workers with a salary of 7-12 million VND/person/month.
Visiting the Nho Quan District Public Administration Center, the District Party Secretary and the working delegation listened to the investor report on the progress of the project to build a new headquarters for the district's reception and results department with a scale of 2 floors, construction area of 351m2 ; design, installation of new equipment, synchronous furniture and auxiliary items. The project started on March 27, 2023, and up to now, the construction items have been basically completed, 6 months ahead of schedule compared to the signed contract.
For the project to upgrade the left dike of Ben Dang river from Quynh bridge to Ben Nhay bridge, the scale includes: the main route with a length of 2,482m combined with internal traffic; a branch route connecting the existing residential area to the left dike of Ben Dang river with a length of 125m; 5 box culverts on the dike route and 2 round culverts on the branch route, the culvert structure is made of reinforced concrete.
The project started in December 2023 and has so far completed 80% of the embankment volume to expand the dike and basically completed 2/5 culverts on the dike. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, the contractor has mobilized maximum manpower and machinery to carry out the construction right after the Lunar New Year holiday.
The delegation visited and encouraged contractors and workers working on the project to upgrade the Nam Can dyke (from Sui bridge to Cuc Phuong tourist road) to combine traffic, tourism development and natural disaster prevention, protecting residential areas of 5 communes and Nho Quan town. The project has a construction investment scale including: upgrading the Nam Can dyke from the foot of Yen Quang 4 lake (intersection with Cuc Phuong tourist road) to National Highway 12B with a length of over 2.9km, upgrading and expanding the residential road with the starting point at the intersection with Cuc Phuong tourist road, the end point at the East - West intersection, the length of the road is 0.56km.
Here, the contractor started construction right from the 4th day of Lunar New Year to ensure the set progress. Up to now, 1.54km/3.66km of grade 1 crushed stone foundation layer reinforced with 5% cement has been completed; 0.99km of reinforced embankment on the right side of the route; 2/4 of the cross-culverts have been completed and the entire irrigation canal and drainage ditch of the residential area have been restored.
At the places visited, the Secretary of the Nho Quan District Party Committee acknowledged the efforts to overcome difficulties, dynamism and creativity in production and business of the collective leadership and workers at units and enterprises, especially in the context of the economy still facing many difficulties and challenges.
Thereby contributing to economic development, job creation, and ensuring social security in the locality. He also hopes that units and businesses in the area will make more efforts and have solutions to develop further, along with focusing on implementing policies and regimes to care for workers, doing a good job of environmental protection... striving to achieve and exceed the production and business goals and plans set for 2024.
The District Party Secretary emphasized: The locality always cares about and creates favorable conditions for businesses to develop and will always accompany and support businesses to remove difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can feel secure in investing in production and business, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
At the same time, continue to implement the direction of the Government, ministries, central branches; Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee on gradually building and perfecting infrastructure, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development, making efforts with localities in the province to successfully complete the goals set out in the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress.
