In May 2025, the Sa Pa Ward People's Committee's Reception and Results Department received about 250 citizen records. The number of records processed in the electronic environment reached 99%, ensuring speed, convenience, and satisfaction for citizens. Like Ms. Liu Thi Nga, when she went to the reception and results department to complete the procedure, it only took 30 minutes to get the results, because her records were already saved in the archive from the previous procedure. Ms. Liu Thi Nga, Sa Pa Ward, Sa Pa Town shared: "I came to get my marriage status confirmation and it only took me 30 minutes to get my records, because the staff here guided me to complete them very quickly."
In 2024, Sa Pa town received a total of over 18,000 records, of which over 15,000 records were received online. The rate of administrative procedure records resolved on time reached 99.5% and 100% of administrative procedures under the authority of resolution were synchronized and made public on the provincial Public Service Portal. Ms. Dang Thi Hong Vinh, Reception and Results Department of Sa Pa Town People's Committee said: "In the past, submitting records via VneID has created a large data warehouse. People anywhere can exploit and resolve administrative procedures quickly".
Sa Pa town deploys QR codes for all administrative procedures at district and commune levels.
Aiming for the goal of synchronous and comprehensive digital transformation across the entire town, in 2025, Sa Pa town will deploy QR codes for all administrative procedures at the district and commune levels. QR codes help administrative procedures not only be transparent and unified, but also easy to look up and resolve quickly and promptly; avoiding inconveniences and harassment as happened in direct transactions. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tri, Head of Sa Pa town's Internal Affairs Department said: "In the town, there are more than 500 administrative procedures at both district and commune levels. We are deploying QR codes for administrative procedures to facilitate people when resolving administrative procedures".
Attaching QR codes to administrative procedures also contributes to promoting digital government in the town; promoting the development of digital economy and digital society through equipping people with skills and participating in the process of developing digital data that the government is promoting.
