This weekend, the concert "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" takes place in Ho Chi Minh City. Throughout March, more than 70 meaningful projects have been launched by fans to celebrate this event.

"Concert Culture Week" is how "Gai con" (fans of "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" - ATVNCG) jokingly calls the exciting atmosphere before the concert taking place on March 22 and 23.

Connecting artists and the public

Fandom culture has been growing strongly in the country recently, especially after the success of ATVNCG. A series of diverse activities not only create excitement but also help strengthen the connection between artists and the public, contributing to changing perceptions of fandom culture.

Countless projects were implemented synchronously such as setting up check-in booths, LED advertising, shuttle buses to concerts, charity activities... Notably, the "Light the World" project achieved the goal of posting about the program on 500 international news sites, making everyone proud.

After work, Hoang Le Van Anh (born in 1992, living in Ho Chi Minh City) and many young people "work overtime" at the "freebie factory". The culture of making and giving out "freebies" (free gifts) has become an indispensable part of "Gai con". Anyone can give or receive freebies such as photocards, exclusive stickers, banners, masks, bracelets, badges... with themes related to the program or artist. Van Anh and her friends spent many weeks designing, printing and carefully packaging freebies of singer Tang Phuc to give to fans on the day of the concert.

These days, Nguyen Hue Walking Street and Bach Dang Wharf Park welcome a large number of audiences checking in on the LED screens. Advertising on LED screens in public places is quite popular to cheer on idols. After many days of anxious waiting, Nguyen Minh Chau (born in 1996) checked in at the Sky LED Complex Thu Thiem - Saigon River with the images of talented artists Soobin, Kay Tran, Do Hoang Hiep, Bui Cong Nam... Previously, on March 19, the image of the group Chin Muoi was broadcast on this complex of 3 largest outdoor LED advertising screens in Southeast Asia, which also made many young people excited.

Sự chuyên nghiệp, tâm huyết của người hâm mộ được thể hiện qua các dự án như dựng booth check-in, LED quảng bá ngoài trời, roadshow xe buýt, hoạt động thiện nguyện...

The professionalism and dedication of fans are demonstrated through projects such as setting up check-in booths, outdoor LED advertising, bus roadshows, charity activities...

Towards the spirit of service

ATVNCG gathers talented people over the age of 30. "Gai con" not only admires the artists' talents but also sympathizes with their journey. The message of perseverance, effort and aspiration to rise up is constantly conveyed. In particular, through the performance "If One Day I Fly to the Sky", many fans voluntarily contributed to the Scars of Life Fund - joining hands to support poor children with congenital heart disease, with Jun Pham as an ambassador.

Community programs have since been extended throughout the province and city, such as "Cooking charity rice" at Tra Vinh General Hospital (by fansite Fire Spread Love - Thanh Duy's fans), planting 1,000 trees under the fandom name of ST Son Thach and Neko Le (Gia Dinh Cam Liem fansite), "Lighting the future" - bringing computer labs to 8 locations across 3 regions (launched by the Global Lighting project with the Nuoi Em ecosystem), donating to build schools in areas with limited conditions (fansite Tsubasa Bros Studio)...

Sharing about the donation to Huoi Nha school (Dien Bien) and Ta Tong school (Lai Chau) under the "Dream Dust" project, a representative of Tsubasa Bros Studio said: ""The one who pursues the ideal, I follow the one who paints the dream" is the slogan of the "Dream Dust" project. Not only is it a project to support artists, "Dream Dust" is also a story about the journey to find oneself and conquer dreams through each shining moment, together creating inspirational and valuable things. The guiding principle of the project is to honor artists Tang Phuc and Jun Pham for daring to pursue their own ideals, from which fans are inspired to "paint their own dreams". Thereby, depicting a new perspective on the core values of ATVNCG is to light up the fire of passion, courage, connection and love not only among the program's fan base but also towards the spirit of service.

The wave of love and support for artists has created beautiful memories, spread positive energy and contributed to changing the perception of idols in modern society. Together, they can paint beautiful colors for life. This is also the sustainable value that fandom culture aims for.

More love for culture

Tens of thousands of young people came to the ATVNCG concert not only to enjoy the eye-catching performances but also to honor the cultural identity of their homeland. Fans increased promotion on LED screens in public places with the aim of spreading the image of artists to the public about long-standing art forms such as Cai Luong, Cheo, Tuong... On social networks, discussions and research on the characteristics of costumes of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam took place enthusiastically. Many fans wore traditional costumes in response to the call to set a Guinness World Record with the title "Event with the largest number of participants wearing traditional Vietnamese costumes" at the ATVNCG concert on March 22 by the organizers.
