Specifically, in 2016, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien applied for admission to the French language major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, with 21.46 points and was admitted (the standard score for this major at that time was 19 points).

Thuy Tien studied at this school for a while, registered and passed some subjects but still had many subjects unfinished (due to absent exams). In 2018, Thuy Tien completed the procedures to reserve but did not return to study.

This international joint program is a 3-year training program in Ho Chi Minh City, taught in English with a tuition fee of 119 million VND/year (357 million VND/course).

The training program consists of 6 semesters and 3 mandatory internships at hotels (internship duration: year 1 and year 2 are 4 months, year 3 internship is 6 months).

Graduates are awarded a bachelor's degree from Vatel School of Tourism and Hotel Business.

According to the introduction, Vatel School of Tourism and Hotel Business was established in 1982, has been operating for more than 40 years and is always ranked among the best tourism and hotel management schools in the world. The school has more than 50 training facilities in 4 continents: Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

Thuy Tien completed the program earlier and is waiting for the graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony will take place in 2024, but Thuy Tien did not attend due to her personal schedule.

The international joint training program with a foreign university degree is not classified. Thuy Tien received a bachelor's degree from the French Republic, which is globally valuable and recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
