On March 20, Nam Dinh Provincial Police said that the Criminal Police Department - Provincial Police had summoned a group of teenagers aged 14 - 19 (permanently residing in Nam Dinh City and Vu Ban District) to investigate and clarify the act of "disturbing public order".

According to the police, on the evening of March 18, a group of young men riding motorbikes, carrying weapons, drove at high speed, weaving on several roads in Nam Dinh city and Nam Dien commune (Nam Truc district).

Upon receiving the information, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Nam Phong Ward Police, My Tan Commune Police (Nam Dinh City) and Nam Dien Commune Police (Nam Truc District) to verify and clarify the identities of the group of teenagers and summoned them for questioning.

At the police station, the group of teenagers confessed that due to a conflict with another group of young people, they prepared weapons such as knives, swords, and sickles to "fight".

While driving to the meeting point, they encountered another group of young men traveling on Highway 21 (in Nam Dien Commune, Nam Truc District). Mistaking the group for a conflict, the group provoked them and attacked them with weapons.

When they discovered that they had attacked the wrong group, the group moved to the area of ​​Vy Xuyen Lake (Nam Dinh City), gathered to cause trouble, and used swords to slash the motorbike of a young man on his way home from work. After that, the group of young men left and divided up to hide the weapons.

Currently, the Criminal Police Department is continuing to summon and work with relevant people, recover evidence to consolidate the case file and strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.
