On the evening of March 9, at Trinh Cong Son walking street, Hanoi Department of Tourism and Tay Ho District People's Committee opened the program "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2024 - Get on Hanoi 2024", announcing the Decision to recognize Nhat Tan tourist area with the theme "Get on Hanoi 2024 - The fragrance of Tay Ho".

Speaking at the event, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said: In 2024, the capital's tourism will continue to focus on promoting cultural and heritage values ​​associated with tourism, building the image of Hanoi as "Cultured - Civilized - Modern", "City for Peace"; "Creative City".

Hanoi will form unique and attractive tourism products based on existing advantages, while focusing on investing in developing new types of products associated with the advantages of each locality such as: Exploiting inland waterway tourism routes along the Red River, West Lake, Dong Mo Lake; developing agricultural and rural tourism products associated with sports tourism...

According to Ms. Dang Huong Giang, in 2024, the capital's tourism industry strives to attract over 27 million visitors, an increase of 9.22% compared to 2023, including 5.5 million international tourists and 21.5 million domestic tourists. Total revenue from tourists will reach VND109.41 trillion, an increase of 17.12% compared to 2023.

In the coming time, with the motto of Vietnam Tourism stated in Directive 08-CT/TTg dated February 23, 2024 of the Prime Minister as "Close connection - Harmonious coordination - Extensive cooperation - Comprehensive coverage - Sustainable efficiency", the capital's tourism industry will strive to become a popular destination for domestic and international tourists.

The program “Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2024 - Get on Hanoi 2024” takes place with many special activities, especially the epic semi-realistic art performance and the laser mapping light show. In addition, there are also booths introducing Hanoi's tourism products with attractive tours, handicraft products from craft villages such as: Thuy Ung horn combs (Thuong Tin district), Chuong village conical hats (Thanh Oai district)...

Besides, visitors will also admire beautiful photos in the tourism photo contest "Hanoi Capital welcomes you - Welcome Hanoi City".

Notably, in the program "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2024 - Get on Hanoi 2024", the Department of Tourism and the People's Committee of Tay Ho district announced the Decision to recognize Nhat Tan tourist area.

According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the city currently has over 140 destinations, of which 42 are recognized as city-level tourist destinations and areas. Nhat Tan tourist area has attractive resources and has welcomed visitors to visit and experience services since 1999.

Up to now, the tourist area has attracted a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. The announcement ceremony of the Decision to recognize the tourist area will create a new step in the journey of building and developing Nhat Tan into a "Safe, civilized, friendly destination", a unique and typical tourist product of the Capital.
