On the afternoon of February 26, news from An Giang Provincial Police said that the unit's traffic police force had just promptly assisted and taken a woman showing signs of a stroke to the emergency hospital.
At about 12:50 p.m. the same day, a working group from the Traffic Police Department of An Giang Province was on patrol and control duty on National Highway 91. When they reached Km 94+300, in Cai Dau Town, Chau Phu District, they discovered a woman over 50 years old fainted, lying on the sidewalk, with 2 other women taking care of her.
After inquiring about her health condition, the working group members noticed that the woman could not speak clearly, her mouth was crooked to one side, and she had signs of a stroke. If she did not receive emergency treatment in time, her life would be in danger. Immediately, the working group used a special vehicle to take her to Chau Phu District Medical Center.
At the medical facility, the patient who was promptly taken to the emergency room was named Do Thi Anh Hong (55 years old, residing in Cai Dau Town, Chau Phu District). Ms. Hong said that she suddenly fainted while walking on the road.
According to doctors at Chau Phu District Medical Center, Ms. Hong was taken to the hospital by the traffic police in time for emergency treatment, so her life is not in danger. Currently, the patient's health is stable and she has been transferred to Chau Doc Regional General Hospital for further treatment.
