Kinhtedothi - The "Digital Literacy" team, consisting of experts in many fields, will support young people with disabilities in accessing technology, developing digital skills and applying them to work and study.
On the afternoon of March 12, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities coordinated with Microsoft Vietnam to launch the "Digital Education for All" movement for Vietnamese youth with disabilities.
This is an activity to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; at the same time, responding to the movement "Digital literacy" launched by the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; practically welcoming Youth Month 2025.
At the program, the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth launched the “Digital Education for the People” movement for disabled youth through the support of Microsoft and the artificial intelligence tool Copilot. Thereby helping disabled youth solve practical problems in social life.
Speaking at the program launch, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Disabled Youth Association Pham Van Thanh said that the strong development of technology has created many changes in life and work. This is also an opportunity for the generation of Vietnamese disabled youth to access digital training, career guidance, start-ups, online business, and participate in social activities. Therefore, accompanying the world's largest technology corporation, Microsoft, will help the disabled youth community access and be guided in using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot.
The method to implement the Universal Education model will be "lifelong learning", which means that experts will train the most basic, practical, and easily applicable things in work and life for potential young people with disabilities.
Through the program, after being trained, disabled youth will continue to self-study, improve their skills, update new content on digital platforms such as LuyenAI.vn and information security and safety skills on Chongluadao.vn. After that, the disabled youth will go to train and share knowledge with their community.
“With the participation of large technology corporations as well as the Association's team of experts in "Digital Literacy", I believe that this is a strong strategy to create a sustainable, cost-effective training system, improve capacity and will spread and replicate across the country for the disabled community in Vietnam", Chairman of the Vietnam Disabled Youth Association Pham Van Thanh emphasized.
According to the cooperation program, Microsoft Vietnam will accompany the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities to implement activities from now until June 2025 with the following contents: launching the campaign - Inspiring with the launching event "Discover Copilot - Unlimited Creativity Support Tool" to introduce Copilot, its main features, and how it supports daily work (text editing, data analysis, content creation); small groups practice with the guidance of Microsoft experts; exchange and support for personalizing technology solutions.
In addition, there is the development of thinking - connecting and motivating with inspirational events from successful disabled individuals, using technology and Copilot to develop themselves; organizing a small group competition with the theme of applying Copilot to solve real-life problems...
