Ho Chi Minh City, March 12, 2025 - Saigon Technology University (STU) and Thompson Rivers University (TRU), Canada, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important step in STU's education internationalization strategy.
The ceremony took place at the Traditional Room of STU with the participation of leaders of the two schools. STU representatives included Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Hao Thi - Principal, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Kim Anh - Vice Principal and Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam - Director of the International Training Center. TRU representatives included Dr. Sujaj Shah, Director of Marketing and International Recruitment, and other leaders.
This cooperation agreement creates a foundation for student and faculty exchange programs, scientific research and training development according to international standards. This is an opportunity for STU students to access advanced education, improve the quality of study and expand employment opportunities in the international environment.
Regarding training cooperation, since 2007, STU has established the International Training Center (ITPC). Since then, ITPC has played an important role in connecting students with training programs in the United States, Japan, China and many other countries.
Thompson Rivers University is one of Canada's largest public universities, with more than 200 programs and nearly 26,000 students enrolled at campuses in Kamloops and Williams Lake.
