(NLDO) - Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have announced the decision to dissolve 26 district-level police units from March 1 and announced decisions on personnel work.
On the afternoon of February 28, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on dissolving district, town and city police and the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.
Major General Tran Phu Ha, Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, presented the decision to appoint the Chief of Thuong Xuan District Police and the Chief of Trieu Son District Police to hold the positions of 2 Department Heads of the Provincial Police.
Accordingly, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police will officially dissolve 26 district-level police units, starting from March 1.
At the ceremony, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police announced the decision of the Provincial Police Director on early retirement of 8 Department Heads, Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of District Police; announced the decision to transfer and arrange 10 Deputy Chiefs of District Police to take up work and hold the position of Chief of Commune Police; announced the decision to transfer and rotate work for more than 2,300 leaders, commanders and officers and soldiers to take up work at new units.
In addition to the 8 leaders who requested early retirement, there were 32 district-level police chiefs and deputy chiefs who volunteered to hold lower positions to facilitate the organization and arrangement of staff according to the new organizational model.

The Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police requested that immediately after the announcement ceremony, units urgently organize the announcement of decisions on the transfer of officers and soldiers to ensure compliance with regulations and in accordance with working conditions and situations.
