Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Cam Phu ward, Cam Pha city (Quang Ninh) said: "The first time attending the Xuong Giang festival, I was very impressed with the booths introducing and promoting many typical local products". Thereby, creating a bridge for farmers and production households to promote quality products to consumers; helping to consume agricultural products more widely.
In reality, organizing festivals today not only maintains and preserves traditional cultural beauty but is also an opportunity for localities to introduce and promote heritage, tourism potential, promote investment attraction, and develop socio-economy. Therefore, one of the important contents at many festivals is to display and promote typical products. Through that, many quality products of Bac Giang are introduced to tourists, contributing to increasing economic value. Thanks to that, visitors from all over have come to know about quality products made from precious medicinal herbs of this land such as: fresh ginseng root, ginseng soaked in wine, ginseng flower tea, ginseng stewed with bird's nest, ginseng soaked in honey.
Spread the beauty of spring festival
Every year, nearly 800 traditional festivals take place in the province. At this time, more than 600 festivals have been held. According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in recent years, especially during the Spring of At Ty 2025, localities in the province have paid attention to promoting the self-management role of the community, effectively mobilizing social resources for organizing festivals; selectively preserving good customs and practices; restoring healthy rituals and folk games to create a unique identity.
According to Mr. Nguyen Si Cam, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department has focused on directing and coordinating with localities to organize festivals well to impress tourists, becoming cultural and tourism highlights in early spring. The scale of organization has expanded, many unique activities have been restored, so this year's festivals have attracted a large number of people and tourists to attend.

In addition to the annual village and commune festivals, some places have raised the level of organizing district-level festivals associated with important local events to have proper investment and direction. Thereby, reviewing the traditions and pride of the homeland, contributing to promoting the image of the land and people of Bac Giang. |
The vibrant art and sports activities attracted a large number of participants, contributing to spreading the unique cultural features of the province. In particular, the festival "Practicing the Vietnamese Mother Goddess Worship" with the participation of artisans and mediums from Bac Giang province and 5 neighboring provinces was an opportunity to promote and promote the value of the heritage recognized by UNESCO. The open cycling race with the participation of more than 200 athletes nationwide promoted the image and land of Bac Giang, the province's typical tourism product, "The path of propagating Buddhism of the Buddhas of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect".
At many festivals, localities pay attention to reasonably arranging areas for display, sales, entertainment, and vehicle parking; and enhancing environmental sanitation. Therefore, despite the large number of people attending the festival, security, order, and environment at the festivals are maintained. Thanks to the promotion, people have raised their awareness and behaved civilly when participating in the festival. At the same time, in Bac Giang city, Son Dong district, and Luc Ngan district, youth and veterans actively participate in maintaining environmental sanitation, providing free parking for visitors, creating beautiful images during the spring festival.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in addition to the village and commune-level festivals that are still maintained annually, some places have upgraded the district-level festivals to be associated with important local events to have proper investment and direction. Thereby, reviewing the tradition and pride of the homeland, connecting history, past and present; contributing to promoting the image of the land and people of Bac Giang. For example, in March, Bac Giang city will organize the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda festival associated with the announcement of the Prime Minister's decision to recognize the statues of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda as a national treasure.
The Tieu Mai festival (Hiep Hoa); An Chau rowing festival (Son Dong); Tien La festival (Bac Giang city); Tien Luc festival (Lang Giang) are associated with receiving the certificate of recognition from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as national intangible cultural heritage.
