Activities to organize women's policy dialogues with communes, hamlets, and villages... have raised awareness, changed the thinking and working methods of ethnic minority women; supported the care of material and spiritual life; protected and cared for women and children. From there, creating conditions for women and children in ethnic minority areas to be confident and promote their role in many fields.

Implementing Project 8, National Target Program 1719, up to now, Cao Bang Provincial Women's Union has organized over 700 dissemination sessions on knowledge and capacity to implement gender equality (GEM) and solve urgent issues for women and children at the grassroots level; eliminate gender stereotypes, prevent domestic violence in many diverse forms, attracting more than 40,000 people in hamlets and villages to participate. Building 746 GEM Teams and training operational skills for over 3,700 district, commune, hamlet level officials and mass organizations who are members of GEM Teams. Training on leadership and management skills, improving capacity to implement gender mainstreaming for over 2,000 officials in the grassroots political system participating in programs and operational models of Project 8.
