As in Tuy Duc district, in addition to investing in expanding and upgrading schools, from the capital of the National Target Program 1719, Quang Truc commune has invested in and repaired 2 cultural houses with a total cost of 723 million VND.

In Dak Glong district, with resources from the National Target Program 1719, the district has implemented many projects to help ethnic minorities escape poverty. A typical example is the family of Ms. H'Na Sop, Ma ethnic group, in Sa U Dru hamlet, Quang Khe commune. Previously, the family had more than 1 hectare of coffee, but due to lack of investment capital and unsystematic care, the productivity was not high.
The commune government supported H'Na Sop's family with more than 16 million VND to buy breeding goats. At the same time, it created conditions for her to borrow an additional 50 million VND from the preferential capital source of the Social Policy Bank to build a goat farm and invest in crop care. Thanks to that, H'Na Sop's family has more resources to invest in production, gradually increasing their income.
“With the support capital from the State, my family has the conditions to invest in developing livestock and crops, thereby improving productivity, crop quality, and selling at a good price. Thanks to that, my family has escaped poverty,” Ms. H'Na Sop shared.
Focus on accelerating the implementation of National Target Program 1719
In the 2021 - 2025 period, the total investment capital to implement the National Target Program 1719 in Dak Nong province is more than 1,136 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is more than 1,062 billion VND; the local budget is more than 74 billion VND.
To accelerate the implementation of the National Target Program 1719, relevant levels, sectors and localities in Dak Nong province are actively proposing solutions to remove difficulties in order to maximize the effectiveness of the program. Currently, the Dak Nong provincial ethnic affairs agency is proactively coordinating and exchanging information with localities, departments and sectors to promptly grasp difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process in order to promptly advise, propose solutions and make recommendations to competent authorities.
According to Mr. Ngo Xuan Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong No district, the implementation of the National Target Program 1719 is still facing difficulties and obstacles in some projects and sub-projects. On the other hand, proactively grasp, promptly resolve within the scope of authority or propose to competent authorities to consider, direct, and resolve difficulties and obstacles, propose to adjust targets and tasks in accordance with the situation if really necessary.
To promptly resolve difficulties in implementing the National Target Program 1719, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province has issued a document reporting, proposing and recommending that central ministries and branches promptly issue specific instructions and advise the Prime Minister on solutions to remove obstacles so that localities have a basis to effectively implement the Program in the coming time...
Thanks to the accelerated implementation of the National Target Program 1719, up to now, the socio-economic life of ethnic minorities in Dak Nong province has had strong changes: The average income of ethnic minorities increased 1.5 times compared to 2019; the poverty rate decreased by an average of 4%/year, reducing 30% of extremely disadvantaged communes and 50% of extremely disadvantaged villages. 100% of communes have kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools to meet learning needs. Over 90% of commune officials and civil servants meet the prescribed title standards. Over 99% of households have access to the national grid.
