For nearly two weeks now, pear gardens in Pho Bang town, Dong Van district have been visited by a large number of locals and tourists, especially during the two-day Pear Flower Festival. The blooming pear trees have created a unique atmosphere for Spring in the border town.

The white pear blossoms blooming all over the sky and earth fascinate many tourists.

The entire Pho Bang town, Dong Van district currently has about 31 hectares of pear trees. As the weather gradually warms up, the pear blossoms bloom white, captivating many tourists. It is estimated that nearly 2,000 people visited the pear gardens during the blooming season this year.

Pho Bang Secondary Boarding School organized a painting contest "I love the scenery of my homeland" held in pear and peach gardens.

As part of the activities of the Pear Flower Festival, the painting contest “I love the scenery of my homeland” was organized by Pho Bang Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in pear and peach gardens in the town . 50 works are 50 perspectives and feelings about the beauty of the land and people through the lens of children.

Currently, Pho Bang has nearly 14 hectares of pear trees that have been harvested in previous years. On average, each hectare brings in 25 to 35 million VND from fruit sales. Identifying this as a crop that brings economic value, Pho Bang town has had policies to expand the area and develop agriculture associated with tourism.

Pho Bang is called by tourists as the “sleeping town” in the middle of the rocky plateau, because it seems that time has forgotten, so it still retains the rare slow and nostalgic pace of life here . However, at present, the potentials and advantages of economy, tourism and culture are gradually being awakened to create a border town that is both ancient and pristine, and in tune with the dynamic development of Ha Giang.
