In Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on March 20, Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Head of Inspection Team No. 1908 of the Politburo, Secretariat in 2025 - chaired the Conference to approve the draft report of Inspection Team No. 1908 on the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee. Attending the conference were Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Deputy Head of Inspection Team No. 1908; Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi and Secretary of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee Pham Viet Thanh.
At the conference, delegates listened to the draft Report on the inspection results of Inspection Team No. 1908 of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2025 for the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of 4 resolutions, conclusions, and directives of the Central Committee. Specifically, Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" (Resolution 18) and Conclusion 121-KL/TW dated January 24, 2024 of the Party Central Committee on summarizing Resolution 18, associated with the establishment and operation of new Party Committees; Directive 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party (Directive 35) and Conclusion 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive 35; Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation (Resolution 57); Conclusion 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more (Conclusion 123).
Speaking at the working session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the proactiveness, seriousness, positivity and efforts of each Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the Party's resolutions, conclusions and directives.
The Prime Minister commended the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for doing a good job in political and ideological work, restructuring the apparatus, reducing 15% of the internal organization and 20% of the payroll. The Prime Minister highly appreciated the fact that Ho Chi Minh City has issued an action program, organized the implementation of Conclusion 123, determined to achieve double-digit growth, and actively handled backlogged projects, and cleared up development. Noting the key tasks, the Prime Minister requested Ho Chi Minh City to continue to lead and direct the restructuring of the internal apparatus, especially the non-organization of district-level administrative units.
Regarding the Standing Committee of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee, the Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to continue to do a good job of political and ideological work for cadres and party members in the process of restructuring the organizational apparatus, especially in reducing the number of district-level administrative units; continue to perfect organizations, associated with restructuring the contingent of cadres and party members.

Regarding the Standing Committee of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, the Prime Minister commended the spirit of initiative, creativity, great efforts, determination, and synchronization in implementing tasks, especially the initiative in developing infrastructure, promoting science and technology, and promoting the province's advantages.
The Prime Minister requested the Standing Committees of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees to continue to direct and effectively implement the Party's resolutions, directives and conclusions with specific action plans and programs; at the same time, monitor, continue to listen to and promptly handle difficulties and recommendations to concretize and bring the Party's policies and guidelines into life.
On behalf of the Standing Committees of the 3 Provincial and Municipal Party Committees, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen accepted the opinions of the Prime Minister, Head of Inspection Team No. 1908. The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee affirmed that the Standing Committees of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees will continue to lead, direct, and organize more effectively the innovation and reorganization of the political system according to Resolution 18 and other resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party; promote socio-economic development in 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more.
On the same day, Inspection Delegation No. 1909 of the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee; Inspection Delegation No. 1925, headed by Party Central Committee Secretary and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Hue City Party Committee...
