Secretary Nguyen Van Nen said that many officials were interested and worried; there were recommendations to pay attention to important sectors and fields of the city because of their special nature. There were concerns that if the research was not done carefully, the merger would affect the efforts and endeavors that the sectors and fields had worked hard to build in the past... Secretary Nguyen Van Nen assessed that these concerns were reasonable and responsible.
Secretary Nguyen Van Nen reiterated that if we wait until 2027 to summarize Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "On a number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" in Ho Chi Minh City (Resolution 18-NQ/TW), we will not be in time and will miss the opportunity. That is the opportunity for the country to transform into a new phase, with a new mindset and new conditions.
To develop, we must first overcome the difficulties and obstacles commonly known as the middle-income trap.
"We should think about how to organize the apparatus of the political system and the city to be more streamlined, stronger, more effective, efficient and effective. That means finding every way to demonstrate and implement this major and important policy. That means discussing and doing, not retreating. We are not allowed to retreat!" - Secretary Nguyen Van Nen emphasized. According to Secretary Nguyen Van Nen, this is the "thinking" part.
As for the "worry" part, according to Secretary Nguyen Van Nen, if we put the interests of the nation, the people, and the city above all, and put the common interests above all, then all our worries will be light and can be overcome.
Secretary Nguyen Van Nen said that the responsibility of leaders at all levels is to take care of policies and use of cadres in this reorganization. Along with that is the policy to deal with cadres who are no longer in use.
"If we think about this city and this country, we will see that our problem is small" - Secretary Nguyen Van Nen shared.
