On March 12, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung , Director of Hanoi City Police, along with representatives of some functional departments of the unit, visited Xanh Pon Hospital to visit and encourage Major Nguyen Ngoc Anh, an officer of Task Force 141, who was injured while on duty in Hai Ba Trung District.

At the hospital, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung acknowledged and commended Major Nguyen Ngoc Anh's sense of responsibility "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" in the process of performing crime prevention tasks and awarded a certificate of merit to Major Anh for his outstanding achievements in ensuring security and order in the area.

The Director of Hanoi City Police also expressed his gratitude to the medical team at Xanh Pon Hospital for their dedicated treatment and care for Major Anh's health.

Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung also directed functional units to urgently investigate and strictly handle law violators; consider resolving policies, creating all conditions for Major Anh to feel secure in treatment, quickly recover, and soon return to work.

On behalf of the family, Major Anh's mother would like to express her sincere thanks to the Board of Directors and the commanders of the functional departments of the City Police Department for their concern, concern, and encouragement to Major Anh. The family will accompany the doctors and nurses to take good care of Major Anh so that he can recover quickly and return to work soon.

Previously, at around 1:15 a.m. on March 8, Task Force Y13B-141H was on patrol duty on Minh Khai Street, Vinh Tuy Ward (Hai Ba Trung District).

During the course of their duties, the task force discovered a man driving a motorbike with license plate 29G1-906.XX carrying a woman, showing signs of violating traffic laws and not wearing a helmet, so Major Nguyen Ngoc Anh signaled him to stop.

However, the motorcyclist did not stop the vehicle and crashed straight into Major Anh, causing him to fall and injure himself. He had to be taken to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors diagnosed him with subarachnoid hemorrhage in the cerebral hemispheres and swelling of the soft tissue of his right eye.

The case was handed over to Vinh Tuy Ward Police for handling according to regulations. Currently, Major Anh is out of danger and has been transferred to Xanh Pon Hospital for treatment.
