At about 10:30 a.m. on March 12, a 5-seat car was traveling on Do Muoi Street, in the direction of An Suong to Suoi Tien.

The car was approaching the gate of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City (HCMC) when it suddenly caught fire.

The driver discovered the fire, stopped the car in the middle of the road, opened the door, got out, and shouted for everyone to help put out the fire.

Many mini fire extinguishers were brought by people to help put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

The driver helplessly watched the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire 5-seat car.

Although the Thu Duc City Fire Police force came to control the fire, the car was burned down.

Due to the impact of the car fire scene, traffic on Do Muoi Street was locally congested.
