(NLDO) - The arrangement aims to gradually make the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union more effective and increase practical care for union members and workers.
On the afternoon of March 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation announced and handed over the decision to establish and arrange its affiliated units. According to the decision, the Organizing Committee and the Office of the Inspection Committee will be merged into the Organizing and Inspection Committee; the Legal Policy Committee, the Propaganda Committee and the Women's Committee will be merged into the Professional Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the City Labor Federation's Professional Committee.
While waiting for the appointment of deputy heads, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation assigned Ms. Le Thi Kim Thuy, Vice President of the City Labor Federation, to be in charge of the Inspection Organization Committee; Mr. Pham Chi Tam, Vice President of the City Labor Federation, to be in charge of the Professional Committee; Mr. Phung Thai Quang, Vice President of the City Labor Federation, to be in charge of Finance and Ms. Le Thi Diem Ngan, Deputy Chief of Office of the City Labor Federation, to be in charge of the Office of the City Labor Federation.
The City Labor Federation also decided to dissolve 12 grassroots-level unions: City Civil Servants' Union, City Department of Transport Union, City Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Union, City Health Sector Union, City Education Union, City Textile and Garment Union, Grassroots Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Grassroots Union of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Grassroots Union of the Ministry of Health, Grassroots Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Central Commercial Enterprises' Union in Ho Chi Minh City, and Ho Chi Minh City Trade and Service Public Utility Enterprises' Union.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation also announced the decision to establish the City Party Agencies Trade Union. Mr. Cao Van Thang, Chief of Office of the City Labor Federation, was appointed as Chairman of the City Party Agencies Trade Union.
The City Labor Federation also announced the establishment of the City People's Committee Labor Union. Mr. Luong Tuan Anh, Chairman of the City Civil Servants' Union, was appointed Chairman of the City People's Committee Labor Union.
The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also announced the establishment of the City People's Committee Labor Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vo Khac Thai, Chairman of the City Labor Federation, said that the establishment and arrangement received high consensus from the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation. From 7 committees, the City Labor Federation has 4 committees. The arrangement aims to gradually increase the efficiency of the City Labor Union's activities and enhance practical care for union members and workers. In particular, the Party Agencies' Union and the City People's Committee's Union have a large number of grassroots unions and a large number of union members.
