Enterprises honored in the Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam 2024
This is the 12th time Forbes Vietnam has awarded certificates to leading Vietnamese enterprises. In the Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam in 2024, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) was also voted by Forbes Vietnam for the 12th consecutive time, with recorded revenue of VND 89,954 billion, profit of VND 11,606 billion, and capitalization of VND 183,969 billion.
PV GAS was honored for the 12th consecutive time in the Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam by Forbes Vietnam.
Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation ( PTSC , stock code: PVS) recorded revenue of VND 19,373 billion, profit of VND 1,026 billion, capitalization of VND 21,651 billion.
PVI Insurance Joint Stock Company (stock code: PVI) recorded revenue of VND 6,709 billion, profit of VND 957 billion, capitalization of VND 13,707 billion.
PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) received business honors from Forbes Vietnam
PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans, stock code: PVT) recorded revenue of VND9,556 billion, profit of VND972.4 billion, and capitalization of VND10,751 billion.
Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation (PV Power, stock code: POW) recorded revenue of VND 28,329.4 billion, profit of VND 1,038 billion, capitalization of VND 29,507 billion.
According to Forbes Vietnam, the 12th list of the 50 best listed companies shows that many industries have recovered profits from the bottom, but the spread is not even. When profits have not returned to a stable growth trajectory, the VN-Index fluctuates within a strong range according to the psychology and cash flow of individual investors. Exchange rates have become a notable variable in the stock market.
At the 2024 Business Forum of Forbes Vietnam, an overview of the business environment in 2024 was provided; challenges and opportunities were identified through the participation and discussion of experts and senior leaders at leading enterprises on the prospect of business recovery after the volatile period of the past two years. Experts also shared their views and identified opportunities for businesses and the Vietnamese economy in the face of the new wave of technology, especially after Vietnam became a comprehensive strategic partner with many major economies. According to experts, despite temporary difficulties, in the long-term, the Vietnamese economy is still considered a bright spot in attracting international investment capital, occupying an important position in the world production and trade chain.
