Opening of the exhibition "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - The Fatherland at the forefront"

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, on the morning of March 24, the Naval Region 3 Command coordinated with the Navy Museum to open the exhibition "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - Fatherland at the forefront" and "The heroic Vietnam People's Navy: 70 years of journey to protect the sea".

The exhibition displays 30 models and more than 400 images, documents, and artifacts with contents about the position, role, and importance of the sea and islands in the cause of economic development, national defense and security; affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. The exhibition also highlights the feats and achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy in 70 years of building, fighting, winning, maturing, and advancing straight to regularization and modernization; being the core force in the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea, islands, and continental shelf of the Fatherland. Through the exhibition, we will pay tribute to generations of officers and soldiers who have devoted and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands, and continue to build for officers, soldiers and people the belief and pride in the glorious tradition of the nation, the Army, the Service and the Naval Region 3, building the Service and the Region 3 to be "refined, compact, strong", revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern, and to excellently complete the assigned tasks./.
