Van Lam village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district (Ninh Binh) is an ancient village over 700 years old.

According to Mr. Toi, Van Lam village currently has 1,350 households with 4,200 people, accounting for 60% of the commune's population. Grasping the development of tourism, people have gradually shifted from embroidery and farming to rowing boats, transporting tourists, providing accommodation and food services, achieving an average income per capita of up to 80 - 85 million VND/person/year.
