UNESCO noted that the control of the implementation of projects in heritage protection areas requires heritage impact assessment according to the guidelines of the 1972 UNESCO Convention... Construction projects must be assessed for their appropriateness in impacting the outstanding universal value of the heritage. From there, the UNESCO monitoring team will assess the overall status of heritage conservation, especially heritage management and the effectiveness of heritage protection management organization during the field survey.

On December 22, at Tan Do communal house, Hoa Binh commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen, the ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking as a provincial relic of Tan Do communal house took place. Tan Do communal house was built a long time ago, still preserving the architecture and some ancient documents and artifacts such as: Ancient books, Nguyen Dynasty records of the names of the gods worshiped at the communal house and the families who contributed to its construction, the stone to strike the tenth (to ask for yin and yang), ancient parallel sentences, incense bowls... The communal house has been associated with the cultural and spiritual life of the Nung Phan Slinh people and some other ethnic groups in the locality. Tan Do village has received investment from the cultural sector under the Government's Project No. 6 on preserving cultural villages of ethnic minorities to preserve and promote the values ​​of cultural heritage.

Happy New Year with ethnic people

From December 31, 2024 to January 1, 2025, the "Welcome New Year 2025" activities will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Son Tay, Hanoi). The program will introduce the cultural features of early spring with rituals, festivals, traditional cultural customs and practices, typical of many ethnic groups across the provinces.

With the theme “Highland Fair – Welcome New Year 2025”, the event includes activities combining Khen dancing, pounding sticky rice cakes with H'Mong ethnic boys and girls, folk songs, folk dances, folk games (pushing sticks, tug of war, throwing con ...), ethnic cuisine, local products, traditional crafts with the colors of the H'Mong, Dao, Thai ethnic groups (Thanh Hoa) and ethnic groups in the northern mountainous region.
