Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam periodically receives citizens in March 2025

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam and leaders of relevant sectors and localities directly answered people's recommendations and questions at the citizen reception.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Inspectorate, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Industry and Trade, People's Committee of Thanh Phu district, and People's Committee of Ben Tre city.

At the meeting with citizens, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam listened to representatives of relevant departments, branches and localities briefly report on the progress of resolving cases that have been directed by provincial leaders. At the same time, he directed the branches and localities to continue resolving the cases and clearly inform about the difficulties.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam directly listened to citizens' feedback on a number of issues related to the impact of the wind power project (Thanh Phu district) on people's lives and farming activities. Accordingly, people in the wind power project area requested the survey team to conduct a comprehensive survey of households to have a more comprehensive assessment; specifically answer the need to build houses in the area with the wind power project, and consider supporting the damaged crops affected by the project.

Chairman of Thanh Phu District People's Committee Dao Cong Thuong also responded to the people's comments and suggestions. The district sympathizes with the difficult situations as reported by the people. The district has conducted a survey on the noise impact on households around the fan blades and has conducted a survey on crop damage to have further plans.

People expressed their opinions at the citizen reception.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam suggested that the People's Committee of Thanh Phu district review households that have not been surveyed to conduct surveys to grasp the damages of people in the affected area, when there are instructions from the Central Government to proceed with compensation and support for people and consider this as a basis for considering solutions for households later.

Regarding the case of Mr. Vo Van Minh's household with a wind turbine in the middle of the land ( ^6,000m2 ), the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Thanh Phu district to re-examine carefully and the locality to propose a satisfactory solution according to regulations. In the case of Mr. Nguyen Van Dau's household, a petition was sent, requesting the People's Committee of Thanh Phu district to act as an intermediary to invite the investor and Mr. Nguyen Van Dau to negotiate; if no agreement is reached, instructions will be given according to regulations. When there is a Circular guiding the implementation of Decree No. 62/2025/ND-CP of the Government detailing the implementation of the amended Electricity Law, the province will use it as a basis to resolve related issues.
