On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, leaders of many countries sent congratulatory messages and letters to the leaders of our Party and State.

Laos: General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith; Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and National Assembly Chairman Xaysomphone Phomvihane sent congratulatory messages to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The Lao Party, State and people are very proud to see that the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, nurtured by the great President Ho Chi Minh, beloved President Kaysone Phomvihane and many generations of leaders of the two countries, is increasingly developing steadily, going deeper and more effectively, becoming a priceless asset and a vital factor, deciding the victory of the revolutionary cause of each country.

The Lao leaders sincerely thanked Vietnam for its valuable, timely and effective support and assistance to Laos over the past time and affirmed that in any circumstances, Laos will continue to preserve and nurture the rare special relationship between the two countries to blossom and last forever.

China: General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Vo Van Thuong.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji sent a congratulatory message to National Assembly Chairman Wang Dinh Hue.

The Chinese high-ranking leaders congratulated Vietnam on the encouraging achievements in socio-economic development; they believed that Vietnam would make steady progress on the path to socialism in accordance with Vietnam's situation.

The Chinese leaders affirmed that they attach great importance to developing relations between the two Parties and two countries, and wish to strengthen strategic exchanges with Vietnam and deepen cooperation in all fields.

Cambodia: The Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, Acting Head of State, President of the Senate Say Chhum, Prime Minister Hun Manet and President of the National Assembly Khuon Sudary sent congratulatory letters and messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and senior leaders of Vietnam.

The Cambodian leaders congratulated the Vietnamese people on the great achievements they have made in recent times and firmly believed that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Vietnamese people will continue to achieve even greater achievements.

Cambodia highly values ​​the continuous development of the good neighborly relationship, traditional friendship, comprehensive, sustainable and long-term cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Cuban National Assembly President Esteban Lazo Hernandez sent a congratulatory message to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The Cuban leaders sent their best wishes to the senior leaders and people of Vietnam; remembered President Ho Chi Minh's saying "nothing is more precious than independence and freedom" and affirmed that the Vietnamese people had broken the yoke of colonialism and imperialism, unified the country and started the path of innovation under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, achieving many successes recognized by the world.

Cuba expressed deep pride in the historical solidarity that has been nurtured and consolidated in the common struggle for independence, freedom and development; affirmed the desire to continue to further promote the special traditional relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

Russia: President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Vo Van Thuong.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Parliament Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin sent letters and congratulatory messages to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The Russian high-ranking leader affirmed that Vietnam is Russia's traditional and reliable partner in the Asia-Pacific region; he hoped that the comprehensive strategic partnership would continue to be strengthened in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks, in a variety of fields.

North Korea: General Secretary and President of North Korea Kim Jong Un sent a joint congratulatory message to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Vo Van Thuong. Prime Minister of North Korea Kim Tok Hun sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The DPRK leader congratulated the Vietnamese people on their important achievements in national construction and development under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

India: President Droupadi Murmu sent a congratulatory message to President Vo Van Thuong. Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Indian leader reviewed the history of relations between India and Vietnam, which have always been sustainable and have stood the test of time; and assessed that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries is a testament to trust, deep mutual understanding and common values, creating a bond between the two peoples.

The Indian leaders affirmed that Vietnam is an important pillar of India’s Act East Policy and Indo-Pacific vision. The cooperative efforts of the two sides not only contribute to the prosperity and stability of each country, but also contribute positively to the broader peace, stability and development in the Indo-Pacific region and the world.

Indonesia: President Joko Widodo sent a congratulatory message to President Vo Van Thuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

President Joko Widodo expressed his belief that the strategic partnership between the two countries over the past decade is a strong foundation to deal with current and future challenges, and affirmed Indonesia's commitment to continue to strengthen closer cooperation with Vietnam for the development of both peoples.

Malaysia: King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah sent a congratulatory letter to President Vo Van Thuong.

The Malaysian King expressed his delight at the increasingly deepening bilateral cooperation; believing that with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2023, cooperation between the two countries will continue to benefit the people and deepen the connection between the two countries and the two peoples.

Philippines: President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos sent a congratulatory letter to President Vo Van Thuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The President of the Philippines congratulated Vietnam on its great achievements in national construction and development, contributing to maintaining a steady economic growth momentum and being a model of resilience and progress. The President emphasized that the Philippines always considers Vietnam a natural partner in the region, wishing to continue to deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries within the bilateral framework as well as within ASEAN, towards the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
