Kinhtedothi - On March 12, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1420/QD-UBND approving the investment policy of the project: Construction and completion of the wastewater collection system around West Lake area in Tay Ho district.
Accordingly, the Project aims to build a collection system and transfer pumping stations, connecting to the West Lake wastewater collection system in phase 1 and phase 2 as a basis for building a completely separate wastewater drainage system for the area around West Lake. At the same time, it ensures the ability to develop and expand the drainage system connection of the area in the future.
Along with that, completely ending the discharge of polluting waste into West Lake contributes to improving and restoring the regional environment.
The total estimated investment is 99,149 million VND, with capital from Tay Ho district budget; project implementation period is from 2025 to 2027.
The project scale includes a semi-private drainage system (separation well system, self-flowing sewer; transfer pumping station; pressure sewer line). The size of the works is calculated to meet the largest flow according to the planning, with the expected volume of 3 transfer pumping stations, 20 wastewater separation wells, 120 inspection stations, a self-flowing sewer network with a scale of DN300 - D500 about 6.9km long, a pressure sewer network with a scale of DN160 to DN225 about 0.9km long (The sewer line uses materials suitable for the conditions and has been applied in projects in Vietnam: uPVC pipes, HDPE pipes, reinforced concrete pipes....)
