The Minister said: Currently, Vietnam is implementing 3 national target programs, which are the national target program for sustainable poverty reduction; the national target program for new rural areas and the national target program specifically for ethnic minorities (national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas).
The Minister wishes to promote cooperation with Japanese international organizations to support socio-economic development in remote areas, ethnic minority and mountainous areas. At the same time, cooperation helps people change their lifestyle and thinking to develop faster.
With his role and experience, the Minister hopes that Mr. Takebe Tsutomu will share, advise, and help design the Support Policy Program and ODA capital from Japan for remote areas and ethnic minority areas of Vietnam, such as the Northwest, Central Highlands, and Southwest regions...
In the future, Vietnam will expand boarding schools for ethnic minorities in remote areas, and hopes to cooperate with Japanese corporations and enterprises to coordinate with Vietnam to create conditions for students to study culture and provide vocational training to improve the quality of human resources. Minister Dao Ngoc Dung invited Mr. Takebe Tsutomu to spend time traveling to mountainous areas, remote areas of Vietnam to better understand the lives of the people; share and support Vietnam more.
Mr. Takebe Tsutomu agreed and supported the wishes of Minister Dao Ngoc Dung. He also shared about the plans to cooperate with Vietnam in human resource training that Japan has been, is and will continue to promote in the coming time.
