Handing over the decision to establish 11 party committees under the National Assembly Party Committee

(kontumtv.vn) – On the afternoon of February 27, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man chaired the Conference to announce the decision to establish 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.

At the Conference, delegates heard the announcement of decisions on the establishment of 11 Party Committees under the National Assembly Party Committee, including: State Audit Party Committee; National Assembly Office Party Committee; Ethnic Council Party Committee; Law and Justice Committee Party Committee; Economic and Financial Committee Party Committee; National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee Party Committee; Culture and Social Affairs Committee Party Committee; Science, Technology and Environment Committee Party Committee; Delegation Work Committee Party Committee; Petition and Supervision Committee Party Committee; and advisory and support agencies of the National Assembly Party Committee.

Presenting the decision to the Party Committees, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man stated: In the coming time, the requirements for the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and each Party Committee under the National Assembly Party Committee as well as all cadres and Party members at the National Assembly agencies will be increasingly higher, and their responsibilities will be greater.

The National Assembly Chairman requested that, based on the Party's guidelines and regulations, the State's policies and laws, and assigned functions and tasks, Party committees urgently deploy work according to the new model and new organization, ensuring good inheritance of tasks and results of activities of previous Party cells and Party committees, avoiding interruptions, gaps, or omissions in work, and improving the quality and efficiency of all aspects of work. Agencies coordinate closely, grasp difficulties and problems that arise to promptly resolve and handle effectively; report to competent authorities for consideration and decision when necessary.

At the same time, Party committees urgently complete their internal organizational structure, establish subordinate Party cells, develop working regulations, assign specific tasks to each comrade in the Party Committee and work relationships with relevant agencies to ensure stable and effective operations of Party committees.

The National Assembly Chairman said that it is necessary to regularly do a good job in political, ideological, regime and policy work for cadres who are affected and influenced. The arrangement of cadres must be fair and objective in the spirit of "finding and selecting people from work"; finding people who are both talented and virtuous; strictly implementing discipline and order in the Party. The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the Politburo and the Secretariat trust the National Assembly Party Committee; the National Assembly Party Committee trusts its subordinate Party Committees; if the grassroots are strong, the top will be strong.

Stating that on February 14, 2025, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 126-KL/TW on a number of contents and tasks to continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus of the political system in 2025, including contents related to the National Assembly Bloc, the National Assembly Chairman requested that Party committees soon study specific issues. These include amending and supplementing Party regulations, State laws, relevant mechanisms and policies to have a legal basis for implementing and perfecting the overall model of the political system; continuing to arrange and eliminate intermediate administrative levels (district level); developing a plan to continue arranging the commune level in accordance with the new organizational model; orienting the merger of a number of provincial-level administrative units; amending and supplementing legal provisions and Party regulations related to the content of apparatus arrangement...

The National Assembly Chairman requested that the Party Committees of the established Party Committees promote their comprehensive and effective leadership role in implementing the political tasks of the Council, Committees, and agencies of the National Assembly; ensuring that the work contents must be reviewed and commented on by the Party Committees before implementation.

In which, thoroughly grasp the viewpoints and goals of continuing to innovate the legislative process, ensuring prudence, thoroughness, quality, meeting practical requirements; improving the effectiveness of supervision and criticism, promoting the mechanism of explanation, receiving opinions of National Assembly deputies and people.

At the same time, improve the quality of decisions on important national issues in an increasingly accurate and timely manner; research and develop policies to support digital transformation, green transformation, high-tech application, promote startups, innovation, etc.

The National Assembly Chairman noted that Party Committees continue to effectively implement Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; develop a plan to summarize the term of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly agencies, and the Office of the 15th National Assembly. In addition, direct the implementation of preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that it is necessary to constantly innovate leadership methods, ensuring the leadership role of the collective is associated with fully promoting the responsibility of the leader. Each member of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee must always be highly aware of the assigned responsibilities, maintain the spirit of solidarity, discipline, and order, effectively carry out assigned tasks, contributing to the overall results of the National Assembly Party Committee.

With the spirit of "running while lining up" must be done thoroughly, carefully and quickly, proactively but not subjectively, the National Assembly Chairman believes that the National Assembly Party Committee in general and each affiliated Party Committee in particular will coordinate closely, promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, responsibility, innovation and creativity to strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall results of the country.

At the Conference, delegates focused on giving opinions and approving the decision to establish 11 party committees under the National Assembly Party Committee; at the same time, they listened to reports on the appointment of personnel of party committees under the National Assembly Party Committee.
