In 2024, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has deployed propaganda, guidance, and support for cooperatives, farms, small and medium-sized enterprises producing and processing agricultural and aquatic products (referred to as establishments) in the province to apply VietGAP in production.
As a result, 8 facilities with a total area of more than 282.5 hectares were eligible for support with VietGAP certification .
Accumulated from 2016 to present, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has supported the application of VietGAP for 127 establishments, with a total area of over 2,902 hectares. The total support budget is over 7.74 billion VND.
The implementation of VietGAP support has brought about very practical results, contributing to raising awareness in complying with food safety regulations of producers and traders, protecting the health of consumers.
At the conference, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded VietGAP certificates to 8 agricultural production facilities that will be supported in 2024./.
