Ward 2, Kien Tuong town successfully organized the Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

 

On February 27 and 28, the 14th Party Congress of Ward 2, Kien Tuong Town, Long An Province for the 2025-2030 term was successfully held. This is the unit chosen by Kien Tuong Town Party Committee to organize a grassroots congress and elect the secretary directly at the congress.

The Congress elected 14 comrades to the Party Executive Committee of Ward 2, term XIV, 2025 - 2030.

During the 2020-2025 term, with creativity, proactiveness, and high determination, the Party Committee of Ward 2 focused on leading socio-economic development, achieving 18/19 resolution targets.

The ward's economy maintained growth rate, food output reached more than 40,000 tons, exceeding the Resolution's target, and state budget revenue exceeded the target.

Urban construction and development work is focused, changing the local appearance clearly. At the same time, Ward 2 continues to maintain the standards of urban civilization .

The Congress elected a Delegation of Delegates to attend the 13th Congress of Kien Tuong Town Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, including 20 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate.

The cultural and social fields continue to record many remarkable advances. In particular, Ward 2 continues to maintain the title of ward meeting the National Criteria for Health, the people's lives are improved both materially and spiritually.

Besides, the ward also effectively implements preferential credit programs and policies for local people to develop production and business.

The ward has exceeded the plan in terms of reducing the poverty rate, job training, households using clean water, environment, and party members completing their tasks well.

After 2 days of working seriously and responsibly, at the Congress, delegates unanimously approved important resolutions and targets in socio-economic development for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, the Congress elected 14 comrades to the Party Executive Committee of Ward 2, term XIV, 2025 - 2030. Mr. Huynh Thanh Vinh was elected by the Congress to be re-elected as Party Secretary.

The Congress also elected a delegation to attend the 13th Kien Tuong Town Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, including 20 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate./.
